remembering Jeffrey Lee Pierce
Below there's the album cover and one music from Jeffrey who disappeared fourteen years ago on last March 31. Since then I've been reminding his music that I played like a cult in early 90's.

Amazing and never heard of the guy! The funny thing is i collected imported Reggae records and saw Bob Marley live and was mind blown, i loved roxy music and genesis. All of this was in his biography. He grew up in Granada Hills! Quite an interesting and talented artist. I enjoyed the way you combined the tribute song in this post, cool ;)

You know...
There were two "grand" men of pop music culture and sub culture.
One was John Peel in England.
Another was António Sérgio here.
I NEVER heard another person playing on radio Gun Club and many things I like and post now...
BTW Jeffrey was an "underground" artist...

yes... Is a mark of a time...
"Gun" or Jeffrey had very few clips.
So almost clips are fan clips. The Lucky Jim clip as his owner says
uses a "footage from the 1968 Documentary "Salesman" by by Albert and David Maysles".
I googled that documentary..it said:
"Four relentless door-to-door salesmen deal with constant rejection, homesickness and inevitable burnout as they go across the country selling very expensive bibles to low-income Catholic families."
No wonder they smoked so much! I probably would have tipped the wine box too..."tip it!"
