we are accidents waiting to happen

"There There" ("The Boney King of Nowhere.") was written and composed at least since the year 2000 and finally released in 2003, 20 years ago. Thom Yorke resumed its lyrics as something "supposed to be comforting – 'It's alright, you're just imagining it'" and wrote it after watching Bagpuss (an animated children's television series) with his young son Noah. However, these lyrics can transport the listeners to other environments, of course.

In pitch dark, I go walking in your landscape. Broken branches, Trip me as I speak.
Just 'cause you feel it, Doesn't mean it's there.

There's always a siren, Singing you to shipwreck (Don't reach out, don't reach out)
Steer away from these rocks, We'd be a walking disaster (Don't reach out, don't reach out)
Just 'cause you feel it, Doesn't mean it's there (Someone on your shoulder) There, there.
Why so green. And lonely, and lonely. And lonely.
Heaven sent you. To me, to me. To me.
We are accidents. Waiting, waiting. To happen.

Dedicated to Sarah.

I Might Be Wrong, new video 21 years after

There are songs so ahead of its time that they sound great much later. It's the case of many songs of Radiohead. This is a new video for this 21 years old amazing song of Radiohead from their album Amnesiac.

WOW

Just wow!
Radiohead's Videotape live Bonaroo 2006.
Notice the light beat at 33:47.

At Bonaroo 2006 Radiohead presented some songs from their forthcoming album In Rainbows released on the year next, 2007.
If there are some songs from Radiohead that amaze me, one of the top is Videotape.

This song has been a case study for many musicologists who have spent a long time analyzing this song.
I wonder why only now I stepped by these analyses. Absolutely amazing, thrilling :)

how come I end up where I started?

How come I end up where I belong?

And here we are starting a new year exactly at the same situation we were before, hoping this nightmare we're living ends very soon.
A good thing from the last year, was this reissue, this time in HD, of the Radiohead's Basement Sessions playing this masterpiece In Rainbows. So amazing! Enjoy the entire session:
