Grian Chatten (pronounced Gree-an) is the singer of the Irish band Fontaines DC and he made a solo album called "Chaos for the Fly" coming out on next June 30. Some songs are known by now but the more I listen to the song Fairlies, the more I like it, it is a beautiful song.

gone is the day, gone is the night

We have something great here. Fontaines D.C. made their new album "Skinty Fia" and they've presented four of its songs just hours ago in this video for Tiny Desk series. I've selected "In ár gCroíthe go deo" (in our hearts forever) my favorite, with the verse "gone is the day, gone is the night" giving the title to this post.
