Costello... One of my friends from my youth was a student in London and she was Elvis neighbor. So her brothers and all the rest of their friens always had in 1st hand his records even before Radios and record stores. I even have 1 ticket from his 1st appearance in Portugal as I tell in http://resgatesom.blogspot.com/2009/03/my-aim-is-true.html
I lived in London in 1983 and still have the stub from the concert I saw within walking distance of my home in Hammersmith. It was aan amazing concert and *so cheap* (only 4 pounds, 50p). I have a very large part of his catalogue. My favorite (along with Joe Jackson) in the 1980s. So glad when he married local girl (Diana Krall).
"Can you tell me where my country lies?" said the unifaun to his true love's eyes. "It lies with me!" cried the Queen of Maybe - for her merchandise, he traded in his prize ..." Dancing With the Moonlit Knight, 1973 Peter Gabriel- Genesis
The 1st post of this blog, gaves the title to the states of our souls, maybe...
