Lusitania

Was the name of a Celtic nation during 10.500 years 'til the year 411. In 1139 it became mainly Portugal.
It was the name given to the 1906 world's largest passenger ship, launched by Cunard Line, a British company. The ship was sunk during WWI by the German submarine U-20, taking the lives of 1,198 of the 1,962 passengers and crew and causing an international outcry.
