joe jackson - breaking us in two
This song was very important to me once and one of my top 10 most-played vinyl LPs. Joe Jackson was very much against the early MTV video movement. I'm guessing that this is where he throws in the towel.

Kelly Corsino
Some time ago I met my dear friend Kelly Corsino...she has an amazing voice and has been singing in the industry for awhile now...I was delighted to see she is doing some very cool PSA spots on very important issues. I love this kind of thing...people doing something extra special..beyond themselves. So wonderful, and wanted to share her lovely voice...

green and dumb - roger clyne
Daisies stand up on their tip-toes
Clouds tumble over themselves in the sky
And all the pretty horses come runnin’ to her
And even the dust devils pray
That they'll catch her eye
I haunt her house from the outside
I watch her bake cornbread and talk on the phone
And the wireless on the inside plays a sad sweet song
A mute moonlit statue am I, she waltzes alone
But baby, baby, I could call you baby
If I weren’t so empty in the head and tied up in the tongue
And baby, baby, I could call you baby
If I weren’t so green and dumb
The wind ain’t stopped blowin’ since morning
It’s got me froze up on the inside
And I could get warm in the bunk house
And thaw out on coffee and bread
But baby, baby, I could call you baby
If I weren’t so empty in the head and tied up in the tongue
But baby, baby, I could call you baby
If I weren’t so green and dumb
I need your government warning
like I need a hole in my head
Well, I won’t shoot your coyotes
And I won’t burn your weeds
Your paycheck won’t fill up this hollow
It won't dull all the aching
But baby, baby, I could call you baby
If I weren’t so empty in the head and tied up in the tongue
But baby, baby, I could call you baby
If I weren’t so green & dumb
If I weren’t so green & dumb
If I weren’t so green & dumb
If I weren’t so green & dumb

Sorry for my long absence. I've been trying to find a good video clip of Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, my favourite band for a couple of years now, but being an indie band it's hard to find a video with clean sound and decent visuals! This song is awesome with the whole band, but here it is with just Roger. Enjoy!

sleeps with the fishes
Soon I'll be sleeping and my party will be over. I used to finish my parties with "Good Night" from the Beatles as António Sérgio used to do in a bar in 80's. This time I present you another piece that only AS could let me hear. It is "After The Call" by Pieter Nooten and Michael Brook from 1987 album "Sleeps with the Fishes".
Enjoy! Good night! Sleep tight! :-)

Lavender Moon for a Birthday King
This is my favourite song by my favourite band Los Lobos. They are from East LA and I have been following them since 1985. They are so, so good and David Hidalgo is so sensitive and talented. This is my favourite song by them and I made a painting to this song and will find
and show on another occasion. I post this for the March Fish I know you will like this song ;)

the star of the sea
It was a night with a brighter sky .. and sleep seemed unwilling to come .. I dwell on the beach alone under the sky .. and there far from the time I ended up sleeping . . I woke up with the soft touch of a kiss .. and a freckled face filled my sight .. still half dreaming I asked her who she was .. and she laughed and said quietly .. I'm the sea star . . I'm the sea star .. I just obey the sea .. only he knows me .. only he knows who I am .. in the beginning and in the end .. I am loyal only to him .. and he is who protects me .. when someone wants to own me by force . . I don't know if it was bigger my desire or my amazement .. but I know that for a moment I stopped thinking .. and an invisible flame burned my chest .. something impossible made me believe . . In silence we shared secrets and hugs .. and we signed up in space a new alphabet .. One thousand years have passed since our meeting .. But one thousand years are little or nothing to the Sea Star . . I'm the sea star...
